Our sailcloth is made of polyacrylic, also known as acrylic, and is used in the sailing sector for long-lasting applications in sunlight. Thanks to the UV resistance, the color is retained for a long time. With a water column of up to 1000 mm, it is only permeable to water under high pressure. Our fabric weighs 330 g/m² and is lightweight and weather-resistant. Originally we used Dacron polyester fabrics, but production was discontinued. Acrylic fabrics offer a wide range of colors and meet our requirements for a Hüpferli canvas bag in terms of durability, color fastness and robustness. For a more traditional look, we also have the colors white and silver-grey in our range, which are made of a polyester laminate and are more dimensionally stable.
