Our canvas shopper bag is the spacious companion for everything the day demands – from the weekend food shop to the commute to the office and a day at the beach. Unlike most shoppers, ours closes completely with a zip along the top: everything stays inside, dry, and shielded from sand and prying eyes. Made in Germany from hard-wearing Persenning canvas, with a clean design and materials built to last.

Fully closable with a zip

The zip runs across the entire opening and turns the classic open shopper into a secure bag. On the bus, on the train, at the farmers’ market or in town, no one gets to your wallet or phone unnoticed. Nothing falls out when you bend down or set the bag aside, sand stays out at the beach, and your belongings stay protected in a sudden shower – advantages an open shopper simply cannot offer.

Generous main compartment for the shop and beyond

With approx. 18 litres and a footprint of approx. 32×15 cm, the shopper takes the weekly food shop, a laptop and documents, or a towel and a change of clothes for the beach and the pool. The main compartment is deliberately kept open and undivided, so bulky items fit without any repacking.

Made for a day at the beach

The beach is where this shopper comes into its own: towel, change of clothes, sunscreen and a book disappear into the main compartment, while the zip keeps sand and wind reliably out. Persenning canvas takes sand and salt water in its stride – simply shake it out and wipe it down with a damp cloth. And because the fabric comes from sailmaking, it withstands hours of direct sun without fading.

Full-width inner pocket

An inner pocket runs across the entire width of the bag and stands approx. 34 cm high. It offers plenty of room for flat items such as documents, a book or a tablet, and keeps them separate from the rest of your things. Everything stays where you put it instead of ending up at the bottom of the bag.

Open outer pocket for quick access

An open pocket measuring approx. 20×23 cm sits between the carry straps. Deliberately without a zip: your shopping list, cards or phone come out on the move, without opening the bag. Anything that needs to be kept safe goes into the closable main compartment.

Sturdy carry straps in 40 mm webbing

The carry straps are made from 40 mm wide webbing and measure approx. 80 cm. That width spreads the load across your shoulder instead of digging in – exactly what you want when the bag is fully loaded. The length lets you carry the shopper comfortably over your shoulder or in your hand, even over a jacket.

Hard-wearing Persenning canvas

We make the shopper from Persenning canvas, a marine-grade sailcloth. The material is water-repellent, extra UV-resistant and exceptionally tear-proof – it is built to stand up to wind and weather out on the water. For a bag in daily use, that means it holds its shape, wipes clean easily and does not fade.

Freely combinable in 30 canvas and 27 webbing colours

In the configurator you put your shopper together yourself: 30 canvas colours and 27 webbing colours can be combined however you like. Understated in a single tone, nautical in blue and white, or with a contrasting colour on the straps – the result is a bag that exists exactly once.
