Our messenger bag in size S sits exactly between minimal carry and a work bag. Alongside your everyday things it takes a tablet, a book and a water bottle, yet stays slim and close to the body. Made from durable Persenning canvas, crafted by hand in Germany.

Approx. 6 litres is enough for a whole day away from home: a tablet up to 11 inches, a paperback, a water bottle, a wash bag and the usual small items all find a place. That makes the S the right choice for a museum visit, a city break or as an extra bag in your hand luggage – big enough for the day, small enough to stay out of the way.

A slim profile that does not bulk up

At just 10 cm deep, the bag stays flat and sits against you instead of standing away from the body. In a crowd, on the train or on a bike, that is a difference you notice: you stay free to move and nothing catches.

Hook-and-loop closure for instant access

The flap is secured with a hook-and-loop fastener – open and shut in a single movement, without looking and without needing both hands. The greatest advantage of a messenger bag is access, and this closure makes the most of it: swing the bag forward, reach in, carry on.

Open inner pocket for order

An open inner pocket runs across the full width and stands approx. 15 cm high. Charging cables, headphones, cards or your ticket sit there separately instead of gathering at the bottom of the bag.

Outer pocket on the back

The rear pocket with its hook-and-loop closure is approx. 15 cm high and spans the full width. It is the place for whatever you need every few minutes – phone, ticket, keys – and rests protected against your body while you carry.

A strap set to your length

The 40 mm webbing strap adjusts smoothly up to approx. 160 cm, from short at the hip to long over the shoulder. Worn short, the bag stays steady against your body, which is particularly welcome on a bike or on public transport. At this weight no padding is needed – the 40 mm width spreads the load in any case.

Persenning canvas from sailmaking

The Persenning canvas we use is water-repellent, extra UV-resistant and highly tear-proof. It is made for life on the water, where salt, sun and wind work on the material without pause. In everyday use that means a bag that keeps its shape, wipes clean and holds its colour.

Colours combined your way

You choose the main panel from a selected range of colours, and put all remaining elements and the strap together freely from our complete colour range. The result is a bag configured exactly to your taste – subtle, nautical or deliberately bold.

More depth on request

Need extra room without moving up to the next size? The depth can be adjusted, for instance from 10 to 15 cm. You will find the option directly in the configurator, price included.

We make every bag ourselves, by hand, in our sailmaking workshop in Kiel. For us quality begins with the choice of canvas and ends with a seam that still holds years later.
